Meet Michael
Michael F. Lombardo serves as Director of the Injury Management Group with Cabot Risk Strategies LLC, bringing more than 25 years of experience in workers’ compensation, claims management, fraud investigation, and insurance operations. He provides strategic guidance on risk management, claims oversight, cost containment, and operational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Cabot, Michael held senior leadership positions with major insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and consulting firms, including Zurich Insurance, CorVel Corporation, and Strategic Comp/Great American Insurance. He also founded Mitigation Management LLC, a firm specializing in property and casualty claim cost containment services.
Michael is recognized for his expertise in claims administration, fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College and is licensed in multiple New England states.
